Event - Harvest

3 and 4 October 2019

Over the course of the week, pupils in St Margaret Mary School have contributed goods, tins and resources to the Harvest Collection. All donated products will be going to St. Chad’s Sanctuary, who work in the heart of our city.

Pupils in EYFS and Key Stage 1 came together to share a special Harvest assembly in the school hall. Led by Miss Rathbone, the pupils sang the ‘Big Red Combine Harvester’ and learnt about the importance of sharing what we have.

Meanwhile, the pupils in Key Stage 2 joined together to celebrate a special Mass. It started with pupils processing into Church and placing their goods on the Altar. Father Simon and the pupils in Year 6 led us through a Mass dedicated to the Feast of St Francis and how we should be grateful for the resources God has provided for us.

Thank you to all those who donated goods – you were truly generous!
