Event - Year 3 visit Aston Hall

Year 3 visited Aston Hall as part of their Grand Designs topic.

The children learnt many historical facts about this building as well as the owner, Sir Thomas Holte.

We enjoyed exploring the different rooms of Aston Hall, including the Great Hall, the kitchens and bedrooms. Year 3 learnt that the staircase had been damaged in the English Civil War with a cannonball! They also did a dance from the time in the Long Gallery.

We had a lovely day!
