Event - Year 5 at the Botanical Gardens

Year 5 went on a trip to the Botanical Gardens to enrich their Rainforest topic.

During this trip, the children got to explore plants from different climates such as arid deserts, temperate forests, Japanese gardens and the warm Mediterranean climate.

We explored the plants found in the tropical rainforest and completed a treasure hunt activity, identifying some of these plants, their names and uses.
